Food St. is an online food community built on trust, kindness, helping one another and respect. By reading and complying with the following guidelines you can help to build an amazing place that inspires people, gives them more freedom and brings deliciously amazing food to our communities.
1. Embrace the Food St. Spirit!
Sharing food is a ritual as old as time itself. It inspires generosity and acceptance, brings people together and nourishes our bodies and our souls. From when our ancestors did this around a campfire to the modern tables we sit around today, sharing food is about connecting with people; our family, friends and neighbors. It is this spirit that drives the inspiration for Food St. and we ask that all members embrace it.
2. Be Kind and Respectful to Others
Our cooks will put their hearts and souls into everything that they cook, often serving up a signature dish that they believe is beautiful and are proud of. We all of different tastes, preferences and dislikes. So please, when writing reviews, be honest and also be respectful and kind.
3. No Inappropriate Behaviour
Our community is built on the foundations of trust and respect. All community members expect to act appropriately and respect each-others boundaries. It is inappropriate to enter another person’s house unless you are specifically invited to do so. Equally it is inappropriate to be rude or angry to one another or make derogatory or sexual comments. Please be respectful of other people’s privacy and personal boundaries.
4. Make Food Safety Your Priority
The safety of everyone in our community is our number one priority. A food-safe community is a sustainable community. We require all Cooks to hold a valid Food Safety Supervisor Certificate and adhere to the ANZFSA Standards 3.2.1, 3.2.2 and 3.2.3. As a member of the Food St. community we expect everyone – buyers and cooks, to take Food Safety seriously.
In case of an emergency situation, or if you feel unsafe at any time please call 000 in the first instance and only when you are safe inform Food St.

As a guide:
Protein per serve = 150 - 200g
Total Weight per serve = 300 - 400g
Anything less than these weights are tagged as "LIGHT MEALS"
